Most people aren't smart enough to figure out those sources are garbage and they just pander to an audiences confirmation bias. I personally like WSJ & Reuters. Both still have a bias but nowhere near as bad as Fox/CNN.

cnn has a clear establishment bias and is obviously anti trump, that much is true. that does, however, not mean it's equivalent to FOX and other right wing outlets in terms of partisanship and truthfulness of their reporting. suggesting that downplays the actual propaganda and deliberate lies, and has been one of the main goals of trump for years now. if you're an intelligent person you don't uncritically accept that false equivalence.

Yeah the MSM is pretty trash and its not ideal.
People running around with a very narrow, one-sided, caricatured and superficial worldview and idea of whats going on.

You can also get used to identifying the bias and propaganda lens different outlets use and can glean some info from there.

I follow a bunch of independent/smaller/libertarian journalists and commentators.
Twitter is actually pretty useful if you follow the right accounts.

Nah, that's a sure sign you've never watched either and are just meme-informed.

If 0 is neutral, 10 being bias to the right, -10 being bias to the left, then Fox is a 9, MSNBC is a -7, and CNN is maybe a -5.

How left or right you are is not the sole determinate of how bad/biased a news agency is.
I do not claim they are the most radical communist org. They are however a trash outlet.
