Poor lady. Hope she gets better soon. Hopefully working with Kavanaugh and Gorsuch thus far have allieviated her concerns of retiring as Trump has done well in nominating judges.

I'd like to take this opportunity to state that I wouldn't cry if a vigilante executed Thomas and Kavanaugh. I'm not calling for this to happen, but I think it would be a net benefit for our country and the world if someone did it.

This is like a once a month thing for her. I get why she’s not retiring but it’s sad that our country has become this politicized. She’s probably going to die soon and instead of spending time with her loved ones in her last years she’s being asked to keep going.

She was already very old and with a fraught health history in 2016. I feel sorry for her current situation and that she has to keep going in spite of a declining health, but she definitely brought this upon herself. There was no reason not to retire in late 2015/early 2016. But she probably wanted to keep her powerful job for another few years, and expected Hillary to win the election with ease. RBG made a risky bet, she miscalculated, and now she's paying the price.
