Switzerland has the best political system in the world; only works in a wealthy, peaceful country with good media and an informed electorate though.

Switzerland is known for a rather strict immigration policy. They don't appreciate leeches that don't care to speak the language and refuse to integrate into Swiss society / culture.

Other western countries should sit up and take notice.

Universal healthcare leads to healthier minds and bodies.

Their healthcare was like ours, was second most expensive in world and its citizens were being ripped off like we are now. They made their health insurance companies nonprofit and boom, lean healthcare system that has universal coverage and it went from costing ~5-6% of its gdp to 3ish%.

Also universal conscription....might not be bad to people who would otherwise volunteer but might sound bad to some dead beats around pard
