I have a lot of questions about religion, and I would love if people could give their input on them.

I was raised muslim, but the older I get, the less religious I become, because religion just becomes more and more unrealistic/irrational.
In most/if not all of the 3 large religions, homosexuality is a huge sin. I myself am not gay, but this does not make any sense to me.
Why would God create these "homosexuals" if it's a so called sin? Are these people destined to burn in hell, simply for who they were born to be?

All 3 of the large monotheistic religions, aka the religions with "God" in it (Islam, Christianity and Judaism), claim to be the 1 true religion -
So (forexample) if Islam is the 1 true religion, does this mean that the billions of christians and jews will burn in hell? And vice versa?

Lastly - "Jesus" exists in all 3 religions. He's the "son og God" in Christianity but according to Islam he is actually not the son of God, since God has no children.
However Jesus is still a "prophet" in Islam. Christianity and Islam tell 2 different stories about who he is. That must mean, that 1 of the religions is obviously wrong -
which means all credibility for that religion being "the 1 true religion" is lost.

If you claim you have real answers to these questions, let me know since I'm by no means an expert on this subject.

Religion is ridiculous

Congrats, you figured it out!

When you lose the lens of fear and veneration the ridiculousness of religion is pretty obvious.

- religion is made up by men.

- most religious rules served a medical or social purpose at the time. for example, not eating pork made a lot of sense in the Middle East back in the day because of insufficient methods for conserving it and the ease with which it perishes.

- frowning upon homosexuality made sense at a time when the planet wasnt overpopulated yet and sheer manpower was an important factor for economic growth and winning wars. so there was a public interest in everyone procreating as much as possible.

- scaring believers into following the rules of their religion by threatening them with completely excessive punishment ("burn in hellfire for all of eternity") served to secure the respective church's control over the people.

- similarly, threatening followers of other religions gave the churches at least a shot at converting some people and thus expanding their power. sometimes, Christianity/Islam instead used violence to coerce conquered people into converting.

yes

"some" religious rules served a medical or social purpose. I'm not convinced it's anywhere close to "most". Usually it's just that humans are bad a correlation and causation. I.e. sacrificing birds to cure the sick

Frowning on homosexuality did not make sense even in the ancient world because exclusive homosexuals have never been a significant portion of the population. Even in super gay societies like ancient Greece most men still had wives and had children.

Fear and control is definitely a factor in the politics of religion.

It's honestly interesting how impersonal religion was in the ancient and medieval world. The population was expected to largely just "go along" with the religion of their lord or king, and if one day the King's troops marched in and said "this church is now a mosque" you had to go along with it even if the populace wasn't exactly convinced. It's one of the motivating factors for synchrotism (sp?) and cultural blending, in that it's easier to get the populace to go along if you say that they still get their days off and their festivals, but they just have to call it something else now. Most conversions weren't done with a sincere religious argument and subsequent conversion of the people, they were done either by convincing the king (through argument or force) who would then convince his followers largely through force.

The Christian position is that homosexuality is a disordered way of living. Homosexuals are not destined for hell, but in some ways they face a much more difficult journey. But it's also true that God calls on everyone to avoid sexual relations outside of marriage. We all have sinful desires that God asks us to control, and it's for our own good.

I don't know how it works in Islam and Judaism, but a popular view in Christianity is that God judges you based on how you respond to the grace you receive. So it's possible for non-Christians to be saved, although much less possible if they've explicitly denied the gospel message. But that would require the person to have actually received the gospel message, and understood it.

As far as who Jesus was, C.S. Lewis had something to say on that:

Quote
I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept his claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic — on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg — or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.

Yeah, I was too sloppy when phrasing it this way. "Most" religious rules served to preserve the power of the respective religion. Out of the other rules which didnt directly serve institutional self-preservation, the majority served a medical or social purpose; but those just make up a minority of the overall rules.

According to most sources, the "natural" share of homosexuals is around 5% of the population. I wouldnt call this insignificant, although it's not a huge amount either.

Indeed. Particularly fascinating imho is how the love life of one monarch at one point in time (Henry Tudor) was the final factor for England breaking with the Pope and the independence of the Church of England. People in England might be Protestants today because of the lust of the guy who was king almost 500 years ago...

You're asking rational questions about religion and looking for rational answers, which is the problem. Rational answers do not exist; only the contradictions of people that were trying their best to interpret a world they didn't understand a very long time ago.

the important parts of all religions are basically the same. Be a good person. Have no regrets that weigh on your conscious. Eat well. Pray. If you do these things you will become closer to god/Allah. The idea of confessing your sins stems in my opinion from the fact of having no regrets. If you do something in which you feel bad about confessing it can allow you to no regret it and return to a state of holiness. Eating halal is a way to not put chemicals and hormones into your body and allow your brain to work on a holy level. Prayer allows you to focus your brain energy and become closer to god. Being a good person in general allows you to have no regrets. It is important that your brain is working in a clean spiritual way in order to have a clear connection with god. This includes not consuming chemicals or intoxicants. I believe that all of the prophets understood the one true religion, and they taught humanity in a way that was accepted at the time. No religion has all the answers and every religion should be questioned. Even in the Quran it is mentioned that it should be questioned. The prophets all understood the truth of religion and were able to give people guide lines on how to achieve a connection with god. One who achieves this connection will no longer need to look to the guide books in order to understand religion, once it is discovered it will never be forgotten. I was personally raised following the Bahai faith and i believe there are very valid points made in that religion. It would be useful for you to look into some of the writings and ideals of this. The Bahai faith is very similar to islam as the founder was muslim and the ideals are very much the same but changed. I currently have accepted Islam and am a practicing muslim. During this time of Ramadan i find more of a spiritual connection threw fasting and increased prayer. I believe all of the religions that believe there is only one god are correct. It is of my opinion that the quran is the most comprehensive and strict guide book in finding true spirituallity as it has very strict guidelines that when followed correctly can allow a person to find holiness. It is a good example of how to eat, pray and do good deeds. I am open to discuss further

What life/religion is all about: The archetype of Evil Vs Good & it's literal translation from secret architecture:

TLDR: See img's - read bold.

Or the serpent that is also cat that seeks a meal from the land of pineal(gland):
This is what all religions universally embody:

Mysterious babylon as a ruler of beasts (those controlled by primal modes of beings & infection:

MysteryBabylon The Great
Babylon TI-Grette
Babylon Ti-Gre
Babylon [ ' "Dew"-Pli-Cat' ]: duplicate, dupe, dew.

"she's" A Super(great) fungus(dew) as slippery as a snake (fungal hyphae) imbued with the powers of a cat (Intelligence, claws, fierce, adaptive).
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/06/health/drug-resistant-candida-auris.html

Mystery babylon is the mysterious plague that is also called corona/covid virus but is technically a yeast.
It's been around since the dawn of time but grows stronger as white light burns hotter before it burns out.

"If Time Were not Shortened even the elect(I) would be decieved"
Or the twin, that is the twine of the wine of the wrath of god (babylon)

Sin is this plague of yeast that mimic, fool, encode/replicate/mark man & his reality - to encode that which was once free life/reality via the pineal gland. The ruler of sin is the devil's Wife or babylon. Being the lord prince of the airwaves the corruption of sound/frequencies/music/radiation/technologies - WIFI(wifey)/5g are included & are the escalation of such as time progresses originally being the scalar based architecture of the pyramids.

Dark energy is trying to steal/consume the soul that is the creative positive light energy by corrupting imagination, thoughts, desires and thusly reality - it's doing this by a biological & parasitic mind controlling agent that is candid based yeast which is the device that gets imput from the dark frequencies not excluding emf radiation (that's felt but not typically seen - as demons are felt by not typically seen. Sun light however can be felt and seen to a higher degree.

Good news is since evil is a blinding white light that wraps truths with lies (inter-twining) it will burn out before the Sun that is the son so eventually good will reign again but not without torment to those who are still alive and breathing in 2020 which i gather is few. But since I am, this is what the true church is saying:

(build bridges) or think in terms of likeness/overlap and you'll find any single religion holds the same truth that they all do, as even lies are encoded truths.
When the churches have been abandoned go to them to worship, the churches that have not yet ought be because they worship a blinding white light - For Just lead is poisonous to them, a light that is also 'LED' is poisonous to them less they be of poisonous children.
One must be led by light that is warming & comforting - one that is early sunrise and sunset & a light that remains constant yet fruitful can do this (sun-light) & not a damaging one.

Even a plant can grow off LED light & wine not water but it will grow fast only to die.
To be David in a dying world is to be of this beastly yeastily nature. To be David is to rock the rock out of the middle eye.
When one eye begins to work then all three can begin to rest.
A prophet that speaks in tongues is one that understands language mechanics by phonetics(how it rolls off of) and with purpose not happenstance. One profits his soul in doing such while another profits from the world by doing not. Those who are after just cents do not use all of their senses just as they do not have all of their sight to see.

It's important to rely on your five senses and the things fundamental to biological life - sunlight, fresh iodinated air, grounding currents (connecting to green living things that distribute free electrons)& eating these kinds of things, etc. Food energy is the last form of energy but in a dying world becomes the last thing reliable as glycosis is the demand for more energy without conservation or reuse of the earlier states.

As such, I communicate to you in a single language now but in the presence of good, one will not be wanting for words because words are as numbers that are as a contract, which is binding not freeing.

Just as ideas are not ones own though one may try to claim(Patent) as such, even so organized speech is not ones either. So, when most are full of talk that is cheap, I only talk to benefit the fellow fallen man if not for their sake then to express that I am not yet fallen but not to be confused with undergoing temptation which everyone experiences good or bad.

Heaven and earth end, even words end which is no contradiction because even as a story does end, it's truth & intention do not because it was not the words that made manifest it was the intentions that truly generated life, if they be good then they're of the good tree that yields good fruit.

As such– those who say it's a fairy tale are correct, you'd have to understand what that fairy is and what a tale is since that lie is also an encoded truth, especially to those who understand basic mathematical probabilities & that constant patterns and even consistent inconsistency are the product of intelligent design despite a thin vale of aesthetic vanity shrouding that notion & appealing to those of primal mind sets.

There is a mary that gives blood (life) & joy there is a mary that takes blood mar-ing the eye of truth. Both are types of marriages to a state of being one being bad, one being good.
One twin is to win, one is to wine. there both a twine of a vine, so be good & the champion of champignons ;)
