well he wasn’t gonna endorse a commie lmao

he did the math and biden (barring some unforeseen meltdown by his campaign) is well on his way to sealing up the delegates. it’s an easy endorsement for Yang to make

He waited until Sanders was basically officially out and the nominee was decided, a slight nod to the progessive left and youth that supported him.

He is endorsing the Democratic nominee for President at this point, nothing really to see here.

His message is very rational - the democratic party must unite if they're to win the election in November. How can democrats, regardless of who they originally supported, not agree with that?

Because they've lied to themselves for years now saying "anything but Trump", when in reality their mindset is more like "give me exactly what i want or i can't support it".

medicare for all NOW, paid family leave NOW, fix social security NOW, etc. anything but this and its not something they can support, and that is why they'll lose. winners compromise, losers draw lines in the sand and sit behind them hours after everyone else went home.

Not sure what you're advocating for here. If you believe that Sanders' supporters are the ones who want "exactly what I want or I can't support it", then I completely agree.

The unification of democrats is their biggest issue. It's why republicans are in such a strong position heading into the election - a 90something% approval rating for their candidate is the best you can ask for.

Yang makes another smart choice.

We're getting closer to Bernie Sanders fading into irrelevancy.

Not too much longer now, men. TY.

Warren will endorse Biden soon enough. She doesn't want to unlatch from the DNC teat.

yup we're in complete agreement. there comes a time when a group of people with similar interests can band together or find minor reasons to stay apart. Bernie bros want to not only control the direction of the democratic party but also to win. you can't take command in a democracy, you have to convince others why they should support your ideas over similar ideas. but the very idea of compromise is a betrayal to them.
