good time to remind people about the first responders that rushed into the debris to help survivors

iirc half the sf opposed spending money on covering treatment for the health problems they developed from their efforts

wouldn't go that far imo, it's more of remembering your loved ones / massive loss of human life

Yea that's kinda fucked. If you are injured while in the line of duty your employer should be obliged to pay for your treatment. In the case of emergency services the public and the state are your employer so...

We have a freshman at EE who was born after 9/11. Shit's weird yo.


If someone hasn't seen this yet, this doc by the Naudet brothers is amazing. Shows a very real and human perspective on 9/11.

He actually makes bigger costs, since he isn't 18 yet and doesn't yet qualify for the incredibly cheap student loans atm. Atm students can loan at 0% interest here :)
