I know the person that filmed this, he posted it on facebook tonight, made me sick...


an 18 year old ( more than likely dumb, and/or mentally ill ...and no that isn't a reason to murder someone ) pulled out a knife and ordered everyone off the streetcar, the cops surround the streetcar and demanded he drop the knife, when he doesnt comply, one moronic cop opens fire with 9 different shots, first 3 which down the suspect, then 6 more, there was no immediate danger to anyone...as he was trapped with a 3 inch blade surrounded by police, made no moves to be aggresive and was clearly dillusional..

the sad part for me is that police officers have no idea how to treat mental illness, as no one in their right mind does what this man did, wait him out...throw in the tear gas....shoot him in the leg...whatever, but this was intent to kill

A crazed lunatic onto public transportation, pulled out a deadly weapon and threatened passengers, started barking orders and telling them what to do, and when he was approached by police, he lunged at them and was shot by a heroic officer who saved who knows how many lives.

If he wanted to kill someone he would have started stabbing people on the bus rather than demanding they exit

He never lunged at the police nor was lethal force ever required, this situation could have been defused with a taser, the man would have been detained and no one would have died.

With at least 5 weapons aimed at the man one officer could have easily holstered his weapon and pulled out his taser a tool that was made for situations just like this.

You're either trying really hard to play devils advocate or you have no moral principles.
