Finally, some sanity. Once a proper system is in place for in-person voting, we need to reform how we do absentee ballots.

This is racist because we can't expect minorities to be able to produce a photo I.D. of themselves.

Its just the beginning and already being appealed. By no means is this the final word. I love how conservatives enact laws all accross the country suppressing minority voting, then complain about being called racist.

Give me a break. Minorities aren't going to be disenfranchised. Think about it. You NEED an ID to get welfare, food stamps, social security, alcohol, cigarettes, etc. Are you going to tell me those aren't things minorities do all the time? LOL!

You also need a photo ID to get married, open up a bank account, and to get a job. Seriously, the only people I can think of who don't have this are fucking homeless people.

Over here you need to ID too before you vote. I think it's nothing less than normal. There's a special form you can use to authorize someone else to cast your vote, with your autograph/SS number etc.

But you don't need an ID to vote. Until now that is and for no good reason. Why all of a sudden place new obstacles on voting? Right before an election? And don't give me that phony, debunked many times over, tripe about voter fraud.

Its very simple. If there is no voter fraud, why make a law that makes it more difficult for people to vote? The only answer is that you are trying to suppress the vote. Sounds like Republicans are not confident their ideas will prevail so they have to rig the election in their favor.

Why is it suppressing the vote when you are legally obliged to own an ID if you are a citizen? (that's how it is over here!)
