(It is somewhat my opinion and personal belief) <- This is for you AiNedeSpelCzech. You can stop crying now

Conscious.

Instead people come up with crazy theories about magical beings and "higherpowers" and "souls"

It's like this:

I am 25 years old.

30 years ago I don't remember shit.

Problem solved.

PS it's my theory that people feel a "need" to believe that they will see their loved ones again, or that there is something else after death. People can persuade themselves into anything just to refuse the truth that one you die.

It's over.

Why do people insist that they know the answers to questions they can't possibly know the answer to?

I didn't insist anything.

And I never once said my beliefs are true.

Maybe I'm wrong? You're guess is as good as mine.

Either way we will all find out someday.

(I don't 100% belief anything in life, all that does is make space for doubt in my head. I would rather have a free mind.)

Really? Because you certainly phrased it as though your beliefs were facts. :(

If someone gets total amnesia at age 40 does that mean that they didn't exist for the last 40 years?

Actually, you did. Nice try to make yourself not look stupid though.

Hint: it didn't work.

Even your edit is unacceptable. What do you mean "somewhat"? This is clearly your personal belief with no evidence or substance provided.
