To be honest, I can't imagine dying and just not existing anymore. It seems preposterous to me. The science that is against god definitely has substance, but the basic concept there is hard to for me to accept.

There are two paths you can take. The easy path which leads to destruction or the path of life.

Easy path means easy way out which usually means not doing anything and never taking a challenge or striving for anything because it is easier not to do it.

The path of life is the opposite. You enjoy challenges and you will welcome them and make something out of your life to have made it worth living. You can then reflect back on your life and say "Yes I have lived my life to the fullest, now I can focus on my eternal life in heaven."

You say that like christianity is the only legitimate alternative. I mean what the fuck?
