Hopefully the USA secures the resources in this conflict. We really missed the loot crate the last couple major conflicts.

As for winners, Venezuela is absolutely a narco state with cruel dictatorship. Their people benefit from short term stability, and US gains resource leverage and optics of a win.

Unless there is a drug lord narco state alliance, Venezuela going to be alone.

There certainly seems to be a consensus among the liberal commentators I follow that the vennies' current government is a huge pile of shit that nobody likes. And from the few vennies I know irl who came to the US to escape their shithole country, they all share the same sentiment. Are there even any South American countries that are fans of the current vennie government? I sure as shit don't follow politics from down there.

He essentially has to be granted temporary asylum in some other Latin American or South american country so he can travel through to get back to Venezuela.

The commies did fuck up and mismanage Venezuela's natural wealth. Grant it the US sanctions did a number on strangling that as well. I hope there is no war but in an ideal world, Venezuela becomes more capitalistic and its people can benefit from the abundant wealth they have. I think there's a scenarios where Venezuela-US and the greater region all benefit simultaneously, but idk if Trump is crafty enough to thread that needle.
