Uh trickle down neo liberal economics were introduced to america under reagan, the guy is not who i would pick as a democrat.
Nor are taxes anything to do with democrats, both parties have taxed as long as they have existed.
Trickle down economics have existed as long as the Income Tax has existed. You are attempting to brand something new that is not new.
In a general sense, "Economics" is not set by the government. People trading with each other is the economy.
Without taxes, there is no "trickle down" economics at all. EVERYTHING about "trickle down" economics is government related. And it boils down to "Where the government invests, the economy improves".
However, that is not the case, generally. Generally the opposite is true, that where the government interferes, things get worse. So, rather than the government spending going from 4T/year pre-Biden to 7T/year under Biden, things got WORSE at the bottom. Food, housing, energy, and transportation, the primary costs of the working class, all went from 50% to 200% more expensive. Meanwhile, taxes went up, and the purchasing power of the dollar went down.
That IS trickle down economics. The government takes and spends a third of the economic production of the nation (slightly more than a third, between the fed and states, under Biden), claims that it'll all "trickle down" to the little guy. Then it doesn't. Everything just gets worse.
So, when a President comes along and says, "It's time to put a STOP to this trickle down shit, STOP stealing from our own citizens, and allow the bottom to grow based off their own labors, rather than trying to rely on help from the government that will never come" it's a great thing! It's literally what we voted for.
But you go on ahead trying to spin "trickle down economics" as some new thing recently created by a relatively recent Republican President. It's okay, we get that you don't know what you're talking about.
