So what do you gamers think: are the Democrats going to double down on unpopular opinions surrounding gender? Or are they going to move to a more moderate position?

In that particular discussion they can't really play the minority card, so the 1% gender card is their only play.

The bearded guy just sounds ridiculous. silencing all conversation because he disagrees with it.
I get that it's CNN with no credibility left anyways, but it looks like he's just doubling down on his opinion and is simply not willing to discuss the topic at hand.

A lot will change over the next 4 years. Americans just have to decide if they like the realities of the new changes or prefer the make-believe marketed world the corporate media tells them is correct.

Hey guys, the leftward shift on cultural issues is not going to stop because Trump got elected.

I wish it would stop, I'm more culturally right-wing than Trump voters(I care if leaders are thrice-married and habitual liars), but the president has basically no power in this.

Yeah, I think that's the gist of what The Atlantic writer pointed out: shouting down the other side isn't a convincing or winning argument. In my experience that's often how these discussions go.

First off, I think who is president has virtually no influence on the matter.

I'm honestly not sure. Acceptance of gay people has become normalized. I think it's probably the same with trans people, although the sports side of it really does provide a useful example to people as to the limits of accepting the mental illness/delusions of trans people. Watching a man dominate women in a sport is instinctively unjust for viewers, no matter where they are on the political or cultural spectrum.

So I guess I would say trans people will become accepted and men(who are deluded and believe they are women) competing in women's sports will be opposed.

Again, I'm truly more culturally right-wing than most(or all?) Trump supporters on this forum. Like I'm culturally where right-wingers were at under Clinton, which is far-right of where they are at under Trump.

I'll accept trans people when they stop trying push their agenda onto me and my kids. Leave me alone and I'll leave you alone. And honestly I think that's how the majority of people stand.
