This line of thinking is nonsensical and here is why: the word Socialism here is referring to two completely different ideas. Scandinavian countries are NOT socialist by the proper definition. They are hyper-capitalist states with multiple nationalized sectors and a strong welfare state.

Socialism is by definition, the means of production are owned by the people as a whole. This is not the case for any Scandinavian country
