It's that time again where one side threatens to default on the debt while the other side pretends the threat is credible so they can pass at the last second the bipartisan garbage that has always been agreed on in advance that makes their donors richer and everyone else poorer.

But we can always dream, so I say it's time to go ahead and default. Let America fully collapse into a third world where people have to shoot each other in the streets for rotting meat scraps. It will be good for us.

The less stability the more the workers have to gain from withholding their labor.

When the streets are not in repair then it's far easier for rich people to accidentally fall onto three bullets from behind, and it's the workers that keep the streets clear.

Debt ceiling is a fail stop for taxpayer to decide how their money gets spent up to a certain limit. Like a bank overdraft it has to have limits. Don't care if it's dems or reps, it's painful enough to see my money wasted on funding new missiles to bomb some goat farmer on the other side of the planet or shutting down the country and putting foreigners into hotels for having a slightly worse cold. I just want to have as much say as I can with my money. Not let some incompetent communist monkey decide what's good for me.

In my opinion it should be lowered to stop throwing money at but essential things. Then maybe if we develop a more robust economy and a healthy cashflow then we can think about raising it.

Debt ceiling is a boogaloo.

Treasury will keep printing to help inflate away debt quantum.

Fixing this requires rebalancing the budget. Even if you completely kill national defense you still won’t fix the deficit.

The inevitability is that one day the debt will be monetized, and it will almost certainly happen at the launch of the North America Union when then Amero currency goes live.

Debt doesn't matter outside of imaginary parameters. It's all tied to production anyway.
