I play on a laptop and can do most things without any noticeable delays. The one exception is Server v. Server wars that are 3 days a week twice a day, and do to the sheer number of competitors I sometimes have FPS issues.

I can sell cash but the d2jsp - Requiem community is limited to about 12-16 people atm and we have no subforum yet. Thus rates are rather high (1000fg for 1m lant), altho you will discover 1m to be a substantial amount of money in Requiem.

Requiem was deemed the first "Horror MMO" and the Mature rating has curved some of the community problems faced in other MMOs... it has kept out many of the emo 8 year olds. Now granted there are still some emo 28 year olds, but they are limited

There are a number of races, as with any other MMO, all of which have different jobs. Each class has a first job, then a choice between two second jobs at level 50.

Bartuk Race - Shaman (dps caster), Warrior (dps melee)
Turan Race - Templar (healer), Defender (tank)
Kruxena Race - Soul Hunter (AoE/Pet), Rogue (stealther)
Xenoa - Hunter (ranged DPS), Battle Magician (DPS caster)

From each of those first jobs you may become one of two second jobs:

Shaman - Mystic or Forsaker
Warrior - Warlord or Berserker
Defender - Commander or Protector
Templar - Radiant or Tempest
Soul Hunter - Defiler or Dominator
Rogue - Shadow Runner or Assassin
Hunter - Ranger or Avenger
Battle Magician - Druid or Elementalist
