I haven't played in awhile and I'm just wondering what is different from the regular realm to this one.

its just a beta and it will be shutting down on 23th tuesday within ladder reset and 1.13 patch release

It's a test realm for the new patch that lets you get to level 99 instantly and gives infinite gold so you can dick around. Since the patch and reset is coming out in full this Tuesday, all of the Beta test realm will be deleted. (It's not getting shifted to Non ladder like after most ladder resets)

so, ladder isnt being changed to non-ladder after this reset?

west east EU and aisa will go to non ladder

ptr will be took offline and the chars on they will go in blizzard trash can on they desktop
