GP is also lower str requirement.

the defense bonus for a caster is not in the actual defense, but in the Chilling Armor which offers great def Vs. Missiles.

never. the life per level varies from 1-1.5, and the res 25-30.

the point of it being a caster fort is the lack of str required.
