I've started a twitch channel, and I'm hoping to think of some ideas I'd like to incorporate into my panels and whatnot as I learn about them.

I'm just wondering what the rules are around requesting stuff for non-JSP use.

Are we allowed to ask for stuff specifically for our twitch channel?

My twitch channel DOES happen to have the exact name as my JSP, so the impersonation rule wouldn't come into question. I can't seem to find any rule that speaks specifically to this otherweise.

No, as far as I know, you can request anything. You're commissioning artists to do something for you, jsp use isn't required

I've done stuff like this before, also done a dossier for a rental car company (through jsp paid through fg)
and a bunch of other graphics jobs

should be totally fine, as long as the buyer and seller are using FG. and the job is explained up front.

Fantastic. I appreciate the info from both of you!

How would I get a feeler for what a comission/job/project would be worth to someone? I don't want to burn bridges by undervaluing, but I also don't wanna go totally broke right off the hop if I could've gotten a few jobs done for the same cost.

Everything depends on what you want.
And what info and references you can submit beforehand imo.

If you only want a static (none moving) overlay for just one scene and pretty much found the overlay your self. But just want to change some colours and add your name to it, I'd say most people here would do it for sub 100fg.

While if you want the whole suite (multaple moving overlays, banners, panels, etc etc..) I'd say 10kfg+

Depends on the time spent really for me.

I can do a lot of those types of jobs fairly fast. I think the most I've asked for that type of stuff would be 1-2k fg

I've made myself my own twitch stream with overlays and stuff using OBS and animations / profiles.

Someone asked me if I was using streamlabs, I said nope. I made it all myself lol.
