The kids want a logo that basically is a Gater laying in loaded mash potatoes

I need the image to be High resolution so when we shrink it down it maintains the most details possible.

Few things to question here:
So you expect work to be completed by Friday?
You Cannot give details about the type of team whether its a Physical little league / football / soccer team?
You're telling people to wait "possibly" 2-3 days before you even buy the FG?

I just did a small sketch but after reading the things you're saying, there's not even a guarentee of the FG because you're doing trades elsewhere
