My avatar was made here for me 8 years ago.. when I joined legendary melee.
I left the guild 2days ago and am being harassed about it by mainframe.

Im The pink panther..I needed a pink avatar so I had it commissioned.

Now 8 years later mainframe says it's his.. and remy wants me to remove it..




My arguments:

1. I paid for its mine..
2. Even if he falsely claims he made it. He's allowed me to use it 8years. It's mine
3. He has fair use of it as far as I'm concerned because once made I allowed him to post it publicly for use for the guild..
4. Avatars posted publicly for use are considered fair use and not claimable..
Certainly considering I'm the one that allowed it to be posted publicly

I allow mainframe and remy to respond here regarding this "case" as they put it
I understand why y'all "didn't want this to go public" as remy said.. but here we are..

Don't bully me ask nicely and this could a been super simple. I have no use for the ava at this point it would have been switched in a few days.. but to come after me send meds with threats.. ye y'all gonna need to prove the case now... So let's do this

To make your accusation valid you are required to post the following:
A link to the profile of the accused
A link to the profile of the creator
A link to the original artwork
Screenshot of the .psd open (see example below)
Any other information that may help solidify your accusation, such as Private Messages or other interactions

Are you able to go through your Gold Logs and see about when you purchased the Graphic? And or commissioned alter etc?
When I do a graphic commission Anything i send to the user is theirs. Usually that will also include and edit copies etc as well. Tho my main question is, should this be in the S/A thread/forum vs here?

Let’s get a few things cleared up here.
1. I linked you the correct place to file a ripper accusation which is here in this link https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=102946542&f=105 some how you failed to to follow a very simple instruction
2. I told you Mainframe was being very reasonable and wished to handle this privately instead of filing a ripper accusation against you after he kindly ask you remove your avatar
3. Mainframe has sent me proof he paid for the gfx, you haven’t sent any proof that you paid for the avatar to be made
4. I asked you nicely but you’ve acted extremely childish in this case.

You’ve wasted my time and patience here. I’ve kindly reached out to you to remove it and you still have 0 proof that you “paid for it”. Action will be taken against your account if we have to continue this childish behavior.
