Tbh, anyone doing a logo for less than 10-20k FG isn't valuing the art form or themselves seriously, and you get what you pay for. Cheap logos are going to be and look cheap. I charge $1,500-2,000 for a logo for my business, but it doesn't necessarily make sense to ask for 65k FG for a logo job here.
Depending on the job I'd do it for 10-20k, but I am a working designer who does it for a career, so you'll likely find some d2 player who downloaded photoshop/illustrator the other day willing to do it for cheaper.
