hi guys !

im working on a design on photoshop and im in troubles with my effects.

may someone help me please ?

i want those two effects to deal only with the layers but not with the background ... but you can see on this picture, my background is also effected by my effects :cry: what is the solution please ?

Use a clipping mask, by default applied by selecting the layer with the "effect" and pressing Control + Alt + G. This will only make it affect the layer or group below it in the layer panel.
If you want to apply it to multiple layers put those in a group first by selecting the layers you want to be affected by pressing Control + G.

i was sure this was a clipping mask but i didnt think about a group :wacko:

this is the solution indeed ! thanks a lot mate :thumbsup:

No problem :)
What you had applied before was a layer mask, which controls on which parts of the image the layer is visible on.
The clipping mask will limit the visibility of a layer to the area that is covered by the layer or group beneath it.
