agree; not sure if I think the lines are a little thin/light.

The more simplistic figure is definitely more towards what I was thinking though.

It speaks a lot with a little.

I like the very first colored symbol out of all the attempts you did so far; still not set on the phoenix though. I think the scale is a bit off once you chop the tail off (think golden ratio).

Definitely like the simplified versions; need it to exclaim more power in the phoenix while still being simple though.

I want to see a similar concept (black phoenix & multi-colored symbol); but I want the phoenix to be made up of a bunch of smaller black birds. Same style/concept except the phoenix is made up of many small birds.
