i love the sort of portal feel the logo has and the lighting is very well done but it lacks contrast and action a little bit also the backglow behind the logo doesn't really blend with the rest of the piece naturally
absolutely fantastic work but i'm not sure if its something i want to be characterized as

I know what you mean by the action, if anyone wanted to see it, here's the first attempt:



On this one I changed the image behind the actual logo to something with more action as well as changing some colors and contrast. It also has more depth now. It might be a hit or miss but here's my second attempt:
