Tried to match colours accordingly to original keanu render, low-key flare behind him instead for that pop, added some smoke in front to get that depth and played a bit with contrast/saturation mainly on the background.

Thoughts?

I like the update, did it look poor with the old swirls from the original? Or was the thought process that the buildings added enough element. Just trying to pick your brain

Yeah well when I smudgeD over the last background I used that actual background as smudge template, so when I changed the scene I’d have to do another smudge, if you want that it’s easy doable!

if you start it and it doesnt look good just ditch it, was just a thought. When I upped the saturation/contrast on the last one that smudge looked pretty sick (favorite part) I hate wasting people's time lol.

Quite a good amount of tutorials but smudge execution is more of what you are learning when you actually start it (something a tutorial can't really offer) SO if you want to learn you find a smudge setting that you like (or grab from a tutorial and just practice the motions)
