I think the general rule of thumb with art is to be inspired by others work... not actually use it as your own.
Finding resources to create your work is one thing - like googling for a texture or a picture you may manipulate on your own - but that's the key: it must be your own creation.
(EDIT - Example, the snowman in my signature is a google search. But what I've done with him is my own terribly untalented imagination.)
I do not think the artists here (or the moderators) are fond of what you've done which is "ripping" and simply taken someone's work and resized and slapped a very unforgiving and very misplaced almost insulting font on.
The point is to be creative yet still be inspired without taking a picture of the Mona Lisa, framing it, and saying "I did this.".
