I understand that the client considers the source image "too AI," but I don't really understand the criticism of my work.

Isn't the whole point to take an existing image and modify it to give it that signature vibe?

I took an image, expanded it, added a vignette, several effects with smoke and flying embers, added a frame, applied overlay and shadow effects to the text, added a slight depth of field effect, and added another frame. I could have tweaked the colors, but I was happy with the result.

So what do you expect? Should I sit here, fire up Procreate, and spend eight hours painting a complex picture for like 5-10 euros?
