How could you possibly think this is irrelevant?
There’s a FREE sig resize thread in Graphic Design. He could’ve gotten one of those gifs resized for free and then probably asked for a name to be put on for a tip or maybe even free.
This user is staying in PM’s to try and play off the ignorance of people new to the gfx forum. The sigs are being purchased under the impression that they’re custom made with layers, assets, renders, etc… NOT just a cropped gif.
It’s wouldn’t be a big deal if this was like 150-200fg or something.
Someone came to me saying they spent 3k and felt like they were scammed after they found out it was just a cropped gif. They thought it was something put together custom for them. And again for 1.5k. And then again for 1k.
If you don’t see something wrong with that, then I don’t know what to tell you.
I’m being told these things are all coming from one specific user.
If I was trying to create drama or be toxic, I’d tag them or blow up their inbox, or maybe id just say something unproductive like “that sig sucks HAH they should pay YOU.”

Im not that old here but imo enough to understand that every person deals with things differently.
I already got payed 5k+ fg for jobs that were worth probly 1/4 of it. Already got paid 200fg for a 2hour+ sig... Thats how deals work here if you dont have a price on your time.

The dude paid for something offered via PM, uses the sig, then feel scammed about the price? Well it's not hard to surf thru the subforum and check open topics offering services, check prices, choose a style...

Imagine:
I want to buy a jacket and I buy the very first one I see but then I exit store my way home and when I manage to wear it I realize its poor quality not my size and I overpaid for it. Isnt that stupid?

people dont know about the sub-forum in the first place or they think everyone is going to be professional here instead you get random shit like this and people have regrets, to no ones surprise

lets say you went to an all you can eat buffet but at the entrance some guy is offering cocktail stick food samples for the same price as the all you can eat buffet after having a few you think hang on this isnt really all you can eat this is a scam???

It’s not about quality my friend.
Quality can be very subjective.
It’s about being sold something under the impression you thought it was something else.

It’s like if you bought that jacket after the shop changed the logo so you thought you were buying a different brand and then you paid them extra to tailor it and they didn’t tailor it at all. Or the shop says they created a custom jacket for you, charged you extra, yet they were pulling from stock they have in the back… and this is all your first jacket purchase so you’re not too informed on how jackets are. 🤷‍♂️
