You took advantage of a returning player who had no idea on current prices, who earned his rewards and held onto them for 8 years. Then you doubled down on it when confronted. You don't understand ppl saying you BM'd him. You don't understand why people copied your thread. Haha!!

Well, I think the whole point of this back and forth is to show that you bought the item at an unreasonably low price (due to the seller not knowing pricing well enough and doing his due diligence)

charliemurphy's offer of 30k to you and 30k to the original owner/seller means 1) charliemurphy is buying the item for 60k, as he originally offered 2) he's not profiting (yet, and no guarantee) 3) original owner/seller receives fair compensation 4) you can still profit a bit, even if you were to buy it for 61k, since if you did list it for 8 mirrors, a cheap mirror rate of 8 x 8k fg would be 64k fg = 3k profit

Anyways, I will agree that OrcishDevil DID NOT SCAM, but the way he presents himself is identical to some rich businessman who came across a clueless stranger in possession of valuables, made him a "fair" offer, then sells it off for a huge profit (very similar to the plotline of the movie, "There Will Be Blood" - OrcishDevil = Daniel Plainview)

Also, the reason why people say you "hosed" the owner/seller is because you're pretty much pricefixing alt arts. Much like how many PoE streamers/youtubers say that poe.ninja is not 100% reliable due to pricefixing, especially with niche/alt arts
If someone out of touch with PoE comes onto d2jsp and sees your post offering 20k for an item while there's barely any other posts (unlike the multiple threads for currency - easy to skim d2jsp and get a general understanding of its price range), the owner/seller will assume it's a fair price

Though I do not know 100% the reason as to why people copy and paste your thread (I assume it's to troll and show that the item is more expensive than the price listed in your thread), most people who do usually offer a higher price than you

Anyways, the only person who did their due diligence when debating on to sell his alt art was GrindcoreThrall, and anyone who owns an alt art should do what he did

Gaben probably doesn't care and is happy to have the fg, I sold my alt arts without 3d art for half price as I got them and didn't care.

Time is money, its why I pay all of you idiots more for your ex than you paid. If you want to camp jsp or poe all day and squeeze out profits go for it, most people would rather spend their time doing other things.

Funny part is, that ANY of the guys here complaining about my behaviour here would have done the EXACT same thing without hesitating.

Especially iPez. He even admitted to me in pm that he wants "a piece of the pie" and therefor copy/pasted my topic.

The only difference is hes being 100% dishonest about what he does.

The jealousy and hypcritism in this topic is thru the roof.

My lesson learned from this topic is that next time i make a deal i will not talk about it and not give an offer like the one I just gave - very simple.

For instance, if I saw someone selling ex at lower than market price or soemone buying ex at higher than market price, I'd reach out to them to buy/sell due it being at a great price, even if I didn't need to at that particular time
You're a respectable guy since you try your best to offer the same or at least 1fg higher than most bulk buyers



Honestly, I wouldn't care much at all about the reselling/flipping since everyone probably does a little bit of it
Check out the OSRS forum, there's tons of people that post buy and sell threads
The biggest difference is that they're shameless about it and do it openly. No fluff and no nice talk, similarly like going to an ATM and depositing/withdrawing money
I feel like you'd catch less heat if all you ever did was bump your threads, made offers and that's it. None of your fluff like, "Oh, save Lucy, Cum, and Gape for me at 30000fg)

Also, not that this is definitive proof that iPez is not a reseller/flipper, but I will go out and publicly say that iPez had someone post on his thread to sell like 185ex for 7.1fg/8.1fg each. iPez then sent me a PM along the lines of, "Hey, some guy posted on my thread offering to sell ex at my listed price. I don't want it so I thought I'd reach out and see if you wanted it instead." I ended up buying it for 8/9fg each or something (1fg higher than iPez's listed price)

After reading this kind of hard to sell anything here just hold it

Thanks for all the replies and I do realise that I pretty much got ripped off but I am the one to blame really. I do still want to sell my remaining alt arts for a fair price for both parts.

I appreciate all the ones who offered to buy it and sell it back to me, but I hardly believe that would ever happen.
