Yes, it means if they know you're conducting trades on jsp, ban. That's exactly what the PM was asking about.

did the guy asking the question get banned? cuz he admitted he had knowledge that jsp existed.

The mod admitted the existence of JSP, did the mod ban himself?

Think of it this way.

What % of players using POE use D2jsp?

Would they really want to alienate that large of a player base.

It would ruin the higher end hardcore base pretty badly I would imagine.

Like I said I do not think it is worth the time invested to track down the average traders, but It would make sense to ban the big players.

If you had 200k fg and bought a bunch of currency it would be noticeable and would make an impact. Average players doing this will not even effect anything imo.

you bought 100 alts off someone?

OMG MAJOR GAME RUIN, YOU'RE GETTING BANNED. EARN THOSE YOURSELF BY SPENDING AN HOUR COLLECTING RANDOM SHIT!

on a serious note, what game doesn't threaten to ban any 3rd party use?
if it happens, no big deal. unless you were one of those few who actually spent a shit ton on this game. then it sucks for you

lol I am not big money hustlin just an average user haha. Was just talking hypothetically.

If you went on a spree and bought 200k + fg worth of augmentation shards it could effect the price of them because so much would be gone from the poe market in a short amount of time.

And I agree, every game says this, but I do not see how they could mass ban with little evidence.

I remember seeing a post by Chris the other day, basically saying 'THEY'LL GIVE MONEY TO PAUL, AND NOT TO ME. FUCK THAT.', I don't think they entirely understand that the majority of it is people cashing in from other games, so they can play PoE. Essentially making their stay permanent, as they invest all of their 'internet wealth' into the game. One of the biggest mistakes PoE could make, IMO, is hunting down JSP users outside of the PoE game, or official forums.

Hopefully it's just a bluff that amounts to nothing. Until then, keep your name private, and do not mention d2jsp in game. And if someone comes out of nowhere selling 99999 exalts at 5FG each, have some common sense.
