just dloading it im thinking chanter? based on videos ive watched...
and tips for a beginner?

chanters are awesome, their DPS is high, and their able to heal (not much tho)
clerics.... well.... everyone wants one in their pt, so it's easy to get pts and items lol

Cleric is OP

I have a chanter 60, I am really bored of this class. This class is hybrid (can heal aswell as dealing fair dps) but it is not master of nothing.
DPS is low compared to a real dps class and heals are low compared to clerc.
It is a good support class because of 2 buff (wow 20% atk speed and woq 50% casting speed) and that's the only reason a chanter is needed in group.
So I would say if you want to find group easily and be able to survive when you are alone then chanter is good
but at the end game I find the other class more attractive and that's the reason why I am not playing my chanter anymore

Clerc are beast. Powerful heals and level 60 dps clerc really good(as good as chanter if not better)

If I had to start from scratch I would pick a clerc

I could have nearly as much DPS as a sorc with my cleric while beeing able to solo heal any single instance, and soloing pretty much everything, which makes it the best class to make money on. ou definitly should make a cleric.
