i just saw that rangers get this skill (ye, i'm a noob, but we all gotta start somewhere )

decreases the atk range by 15m, adds 50% dmg and 20% atk speed.

it only adds 50% dmg to the base dmg of the bow (saw on some website), so is it even good?

u pay 60% of your range for 20% atk speed + some dmg?

Yes, you're exchanging range for more burst.

so bestial fury is mainly for pve?

seems like it will suck big time in pvp

It's kind of situational in pvp. It's pretty much "all or nothing".

the only reason in pvp i can see is in 1 vs 1 and u got the other to sleep or something.

seems more like a pve skill imo

Well think about it, if you're gonna hide and sneak up behind someone and get relatively close you can use that skill to just go on an all out damage burst to end the fight as quick as possible =D

but i just fear that chars like glads/temps will survive the stun lenght, and a ranger in close combat with those is most of the time dead.

but then again, retreating shot can get u out.

burst -> silence -> stun -> sleep arrow

wait for silence arrow and stunning shot to come back up

bestiafl fury is the best stigma...

trust me every good ranger have Bestial fury
