What's the pros and cons about this?

Polearm is the best.

I could not explain to you why though. I played with the best people on the Israphel server, and I started as a Glad. They told me polearm was #1.

Spear : AoE's, knockdowns that triggers some skills, more burst dmg, better for PVP
Dual wield :constant dmg, better on signle target mobs such as bosses IF both your weapons are very very good

2h is for pvp and dual wield is for pve

polearm > GS because i think it has higher base crit and can hit for higher top end dmg.

Well i only pvp and imo Polearm with extend is the best for most classes, but weak things such as rangers / mages i prefer dual weild because you can hit quicker etc and on the weaker hp but massive dmg classes such as mages you wanna hit hard and quick so dual weild is awesome for that.

rangers are so squishy you can just 3shot them with a spear, nn dual wield

Against a good sorc, as a glad, your only chance is to silence godstone + knockdown to 100-0 them. dual wielding just doesn't have the burst to kill anything in pvp.

Then clearly you're not doing it right o_O
With 2 x 19% attk speed weapons you can burst out dmg on mages in no time, then again i guess it's all down to preferences, i like the spear myself but i also like dual weild so i guess it's whatever you're into
plus with the swords u can get two godstones going even though the 50% offhand reduction it's still awesome =o

No... just no.

You don't dual wield for pvp. I don't know what server and who you're playing against, but it just doesn't work when you're up against competent pvpers.

Sure you'll get your ass handed to you by a spear weilder, but it's all down to what you like to do...I like to use different stuff to everyone else, but i havent played glad in quite a while, maining sorc atm.
Dual weild is fun, I'm not saying abandon spear and go pure dual weild but it's a fun swap to have for when u feel like messing around and works really nice on mages i've found :]
