He honestly should not have made a sorc for 2v2,

You should Roll Cleric and Temp/Glad.

IMO Glad is better, temp really doesn't prove better until the very end. Early levels they're just Meat puppets, and have a better ability to argo -- but since 2v2 that's not a problem.

if you dont want to be bored.

Chanter/glad
Chanter/Assassin (more dps then glads)

Sorc/Sorc =kills things before they can even do anything

Ranger/Cleric=pointless
Ranger/Chanter=Pointless (Ranger will keep pulling aggro off chanter)

just gata see the differences between them, support/melee/dos/tank/ranged take all those in to factor

A ranger and chanter were the first two chars to level to 50 on NA. The ranger kited elites with the chanter there for buffs and extra dps and if anything a ranger would make a better tank than a chanter cause of their massive dodge.

On the other side, we're talking about first chars...

Rangers completely blow balls and make you want to quit the game until ~34.

After that they start getting good, but GL getting there...

Where as say a glad, gets really nice even at the lower lvls.

Depends on what he wants to do i guess, I agree that glads are pretty decent at all levels but at the same time rangers get insane endgame and are extremely easy. They do suck at low levels but they still level fast cause they can kite elites the best.

Kiting isn't exactly for beginners, and Rangers are only for aion addicts imo, the early lvls will make you quit the game... :p

Oh common. All classes can make you quit if you don't like play solo, heal, buff or tank. The point is to find friends and play with them. Grinding with other friend is better, faster and give you more fun. My first class was ranger, at head start. I quit at level 36, because that was a 50 level race. I was bored with this class. Then when i come back i choice chanter and i was playing till 47 only with friends, pug groups. Was fun and i level my toon fast. After this level i level up solo. You must find what do you like. For example ranger is rly cool solo, but you must have many kinah to buy good gear, because this class need it. If you like grind solo, the best is SM or Sorc. Fast, without good gear you can still solo elites and stuff.
