What's the best class to make money? I stopped playing the month after the launch so I need updates now =)

Cleric or chanter, you can solo some bosses and sell the loot.

Example is once lvl 25ish, you can easily solo Farmer Havenjark, which drops some items that sell for 100k-300k Kinah easy.

Also if you pull right, at the high teens/low 20s, you can solo elites/bosses in BC, for easy Kinah -- asmo.

100k-300k kinah on 50lv is about 1h grinding.



This is not true at all.



At end level you must grind kinah. This is not about class, because all class can grind mobs. Sure you have faster classes, but the point is to grind grind grind. For example i faild second crit on miragent and i was broke, after 3 days i have already 10 milions + kinah. This is not from "elites", world boss or instances. If you count on this shit, you must realise that you awlays need to be first (if named mob/world boss) and also you need lucky rolls on dice (with elites, world boss, instances). This reduce your chance for kinah and you mainly loose time for this. The best income is for spending hours on mobs, for example calydons. You are doing platinium coin quest. In 1h you can make 3 runs easy. This is my example how to make kinah:

So for 1h:
3xeyes x 34k = 102k
3x platinium x14k = 52k
= 154k kinah in worst case

In best case:
9xeyes x 34k = 306k
3 platinium x14k = 52k
= 358k kinah without side drops

Medium run:
6xeyes x 34 = 204k
3 platinium x14k = 52k
=256k kinah without side drops

Quest for platinium coins give you 1 platinium coin and 1-3 angel eyes. On my server platinium coin is worth from 15-20k kinah per 1. Angel Eye is worth from 36-50k kinah. I put examples in rly low price when you need kinah fast and stuff.

Also calydons drops nice recipies like aether jelly (4k dp refeel) or moonflower sushi roll and more. Also you can get on them noble surka recipies (1 recepie is worth about 20 milions). Calydons drop white/green/blue items also, fluxes and manastones. After 3 days my income was 8+ milions kinah. I spend about 4h per day on them. This is not about i am chanter. The point is to grind grind grind. You can be lucky and earn in 1 day doing almost nothing milions kinah. You can be unlucky, and by farming world bosses/instances you can get nothing. On calydons you always get this stupid coins + angel eyes which is good base for your income. Side drops build your kinah ammount. So after spending hours there, you always got something even if you are unlucky.


To end this, you don't need to choice special class to earn kinah. You should play class which you like. The point is to farm, spend more than 10 minutes on spot, and have fun. Trust me that every class can make 1 calydon run in 20 minutes or less.

Sure, they're all equal in the end due to end game gear and skills, but during that time, chanter/cleric is #1.

Rotfl not. Sorc/SM is much better. Than ranger, than cleric, than chanter, than sin, then gladi and last one is templar.

Debatable, but I'd still say overall clerics are best because you can solo a ton of named mobs for drops and cleric survivability is very high with the self heals. There are some named mobs that aren't able to kited so you'd be shit outta luck then.

At lvl 25 I solo'd Havenjark with my cleric.

I didn't kite.... I just fucked him up.


Staff cleric ftw DPS is how the pros roll.

But AnimeFTW you're missing the point, you shouldn't do World bosses/instances/elites for Kinah, you should merely grind.

I made my first 1m, know how? Simply grinding at Indun's lake on two chars 10-15. Glad and Chanter.
Tons of that low lvl Midnight item drop, but they sell 7500-15k ez, In 1 lvl, I'll get about 5-10 of em so...

Edit: About the best class for grinding, That's debatable.

Sorcs have a major downtime if no pots, otherwise if you have pots they're prob the fastest.

yeah, chanter can do the plat coin quests pretty fast too, for decent money.
