honestly it depends on server, trolls, assholes and so on. will vary, i enjoy it very much. Id say the cons are the prices holy hell...

This game isn't like most "american" games.

It should be one of the key factors you should think about.

God gear is very overpriced due to the fact that you mainly have to grind yerself for gear.

Not everyone has all the good stuff, like for Diablo 2's sake, imagine if Enigma was a really rare armor... but no almost everyone has 10 of em now lol...
Only problem with aion is it's lack of population... IMO it could be possibly one of the best MMO's if it had more people.

Server merges will help assuage that problem until 2.0 hits.
