what... cleric v chanter in pvp or just in general

I think Chanters are really strong.

and so are clerics

but yeah since i'm a templar i have problems with both

They both heal me so I like them both but I hear that they are both badass

chanters are more of a support class. They have backup heals, Mantra's, Buffs, and below average DPS. They can solo fairly decently at higher levels though.

Clerics are the main healing class and are very tough if built properly. Clerics lack DPS though and with the grind in this game it would be painful to roll a cleric without leveling buddies.

I rolled a cleric, I am level 39 at the moment.

If you decide to roll cleric, all I can say is carry mana treatments with you, and I would suggest alchy as a proff if you dont want to just dot / melee mobs.

DO NOT stack pure HP manastones like all the higher level clerics tell you to while your leveling, do a mix of HP and magic boost, or it will take you forever to kill shit.

Rolling a cleric is not nearly as bad as you would think it is, actually alot of fun... esp once you hit the abyss.
