There's more to "Running a game" than just the processor's speed.
The processor handles a lot of math based stuff, and I'll explain more via PMs if you want.

Give us all of your specs.. GPU Especially.

3 gigs of ram os is windows xp everything checked out but the processors speed is why i ask

According to the minimum above, you require a minimum of 2.4 GHz processing power.
You must take into account, Window's XP takes up a small portion of that processing power, and the programs you run (or services in the background) also take up processing time/RAM.
Window's XP will only recognize 3.5 to 4 GB of RAM, although it may "see more" than that, assuming you're on an x86 platform.

I'm running it on 1,86 c2d, x1600 and 2GB ram on XP.

1280x800 it is playable while this "dynamic fps correction" option is checked.

everything passes now except my processor speed. pretty sure i can run it
