Hey so I just made level 29 and was wondering if you guys had advice on where to go/what to do for the most efficient leveling/kinah making (solo or grouped).

Right now, the right parts of the abyss give great XP per mob, but the Asmos are traveling in huge packs constantly.

Step 1. Make friends in-game.
Step 2. Quest/Grind with said friends.
Step 3. ???????
Step 4. Profit.

But really i have no idea as my highest char atm in 20. Gl

just bot to 50, or quit.

Comments like this anytime the word 'bot' is mentioned makes me laugh because of the irony. Let us forget for one minute that Paul doesn't want the users of his site to mention such a dastardly word like 'bot' now and digress to the reason almost all of the old members joined here in the first place. Let alone what Mr. Njaguar's mini-empire and these very forums were built on. I say to each their own and why make such statements as yours.

If your intention is to preserve the integrity of the game, well you should probably evaluate how using a currency, in this case FG, outside of this or any game effects the in game economy. In my opinion botting or buying gold from a farming company is no different than us using our virtual pixels.


To the original poster, It has been my experience thus far that solo questing / grinding will give you the best results for Kinah. However I wouldn't recommend too much of that for sanity reasons. For Exp at those levels i would suggest hitting 30 and finding a reliable group to do Boss Farm runs in Fire Temple. At level 30 with a fewer high levels (32-35) in the group you should receive 10-15% of a level for each run with a time invested of around 30-40 minutes depending on the group. Could be far less or far more time depending on the group. This will be slightly slower than Solo questing / grinding depending on class and should be on par with grinding Ice Claw for this level range. You however do have the added benefit of the slight chance to get a Unique level 35 weapon off of Kromede which adds just enough Mystique to each run for you to go right back in for another run! You should also be able to get a few pieces of your 'Flame' gear for when you hit 35. I try to do 2-4 runs a night depending on play time, mixed in with some Abyss PvP to break up monotony.

Farming: Learn 2 play the brokers.. its soo easy to play.. I started yesterday I got to 14, I have 500k kinah saved up.
Leveling: Not sure, I started yesterday

i just cant understand botting, and powerleveling in a game like this, at this state of the game.

its not about farming, or trading d2/wow/eve items/money for Aion items/kinah...its about leveling, learning ur class, learning what u can do in pve, pvp...l2play

wanna earn kinah in Aion? l2trade. ur new to mmo's? l2play first

Your point is very clear and in this context very understandable, in fact you make excellent points on why not to bot in general. I completely agree with there being little point in botting the game this early in release aside from the extra Kinah and level advantage you would have in PvP. However if you engage in PvP without properly dealing with the drudgery of learning your class, well level advantage won't help you much......

Again, wasn't knocking you and this post is 100% how opposition to a point should be. Make your counter points and express your opinions, bravo my friend.

I'd say botting in D2 and botting in an MMO are different on principle. In D2, while a greater flux of items affects the economy, it affects everyone equally. In an MMO, there are limited resources (mobs, nodes, whatever), save for instances. Botting and taking up those resources affects the people trying to play legitimately constantly.
