i have never ever played WoW nor Aion. and next monday i'm buying a new pc (i7 920, 5870 and stuff...)
and i'm thinking oabout bying WoW or Aion. atm i see that Aion have better graphics, better game play, but is it really over all better than WoW ?

I played WoW for years. Blizzard just keeps making it easier and easier and easier. It's really gotten to the point where it offers me absolutely no challenge and it's become very dull and boring (this includes PvP and especially PvE).

I like Aion better in every aspect minus the crafting system. Also, the movement system isn't quite as fluid as WoW, but it isn't bad.

He hit the nail DEAD on! People playing WoW cried "Nerf this, nerf that!" to the point that the game is no challenge. Aion undoubtably is hard.

Aion is a far better game in every aspect than World of Warcraft, from the challenge that it presents to crafting. I actually love the crafting system. There's some minor problems like, your legion doesn't have enough ranks etc - but these things in theory should get fixed/changed.

The problem I don't like:
There are botters all over the place, and gold spammers. You have the ability to report them but ncsoft has done nothing to remove bots I reported several days ago. The customer service is absolutely terrible. And if they don't fix it, I wont pay to play the game either. You don't hear from Ncsoft much on what their intentions are about this situation with the gold spammers/bots.
The main issue with the bots is - say you're leveling by yourself, and you need to kill quest mobs. Usually I find a bot around this area. So you start to attack the mob, right?
Well - the bot is usually a team of 2 Gladiators (at least the ones I've seen) who take your kill from you because obviously, they out damage you. And, in Aion - there is no mob tapping.
This is especially inconvenient for healers/templars.

So until this issue is fixed, I can't vouch Aion 100% against WoW, because Blizzard choses to offer fast customer service and they have always told us (even if we didn't agree) what their intentions were in making the game better.
