I'd say go with Aion.

If you want to play a superhero game, play city of heroes/villains (I really enjoyed that game)
And seeing as how champions was developed by the same company as CoH/V it'll probably just be a knock-off.

I played Champions online for a little while. It wasn't very good. It might appeal to some people but if you didn't like CoH, then you won't like Champions Online.
