It is new it's fresh exciting, more attractive than a stale wow.
It looks amazing, game runs very smooth, and the gameplay is awesome.

Wow still overall beats it just based on an overall game. If you are looking for something fresh and very fun to play, get it. Don't expect it to have the same play as wow though, it's brand new.

WoW is a more refined and worked game that IS whether you want to admit it or not a "better" game.

Aion however has the appeal of something new, and has an GREAT basis that I see building into something good.

It might not be better now than WoW, but it's better than WoW was at its launch.
