I preordered the game, how ever I'm having trouble downloading the torrent. Would getting a fileplanet membership be quicker?

I myself did the Fileplanet deal for $5 or whatever, well worth it!

You can DL it and just wait in the queue.

I'm sorry i'm not following you. I can't download it through the torrent because I can't open the ports on my routher. Do I really have to pay to make a fileplanet account?

You would think that if I paid $60 for the game that they would have some way to download it directly from the site that isn't a torrent.

You can download it for free from Fileplanet but the download speed will be slower and you will have to wait in a long queue or you can pay $6 and download it at unlimited speed without a wait time.

OR you could download the NCSoft Launcher and download the game through that for free which is still pretty fast... I capped out at 600 Kb/s using that the first time.

NCSoft has a launcher for the beta? I tried to use it and I think it tried to download the full retail game and they don't have it up yet. I'll check into it i guess.

The Beta client IS the retail client. They just patch it.
