like in WoW how u got the dps, tank, and heals and how its crucial to have so many of each going into raids and what not??

As far as I know, yes, there are roles for each class.

Templars tank (Soooometimes Gladiators, but not nearly as good as Templar)

Clerics are the main healers (Chanters can heal to a degree)

Everything else is DPS.

And yes, don't EVER mention WoW when talking about Aion.

No, I hate Wow. I spent $565 on the damn game. $500 for books,etc, and $60 for membership/ first wow game. I hated the game and still don't understand how people like that game.

As far as roles, they are very simple, tho the gameplay wont be.

Templar - Tank
Glad - Melee plate physical dps
Assassin - Melee "stealth" physical dps
Cleric - Healer
Chanter - Buff/Debuffer, assist heal
Sorc/Spirit master -Ranged Spell dps
Ranger - Ranged physical dps
