Don't pretend the WoW community is any better.

That being said I would recommend this game to you. It has better balanced PvP, world PvP actually works in Aion. Combat system is a bit more complex, the idea of stigmas(think of them as glyphs that actually give you good abilites rather then just improve upon them.) If you want a bunch of PvE then you may be disappointed. Especially since a lot of the PvE takes place in a PvP zone(fortress raiding) think wintergrasp but not laggy and on a much larger scale.

If you're looking for a quest that has easy mode leveling then this isn't the game for you. Leveling is going to take some work. It's not going to be HORRIBLE but it will take time.

I really enjoy the questing though. The leveling is fun :P

don't flatter yourself guys... the only reason a lot of people are leaving wow to play aion is because it's new

i don't even play wow, and i never have, but i'm willing to bet the game will dry out and people will go back to wow or w/e games they played before aion

I seriously dount it will "dry out" and I don't believe it will achieve the success that WoW has. I do believe that the game has a good chance of beating RS out of #2 in the mmo market. Aion Already has 3.5 mil Asian subscribers and I'm sure t here are at least 500,000 considerign preorders alone were 400k. That puts Aion at #4 i believe. If Aion can make it to 5.9 mil they will beat out RS for the #2 spot.

don't forget that the game is new so everybody wants to try it out... runescape has been out for a long time

edit: the game looks too much like wow to be #2 or #1 for that matter...

It looks far more likw GW/L2 then WoW and both those games were top dogs for awhile.

runescape has been out since like 2001 and millions still play

i don't think aion is gonna be some legendary mmo... it's just all hyped up because its new
