Have you played AION? Do you know how things work there ^^!! All good items are non tradeable items all pvp gear is non tradeable the good sets come out of instances those instances got CD only gold members got the CDs like they are now veteran or starter got endless CDs on the instances, other good gear is maybe craftable but as a vet or starter you can't gather endless for mats you are limited and beleave me you need endless mats to get a armor or weapon to proc to gold or ethernal oh and as starter you can't buy or sell items from market as vet yes but limited, as vet or starter you aren't able to craft more then 3 or 5 peaces a day and and and this is truly only pay 2 win.....


edit: oh I forgott to mention that the droprates for items suck if they keep it like it is now it's just a fail, if they massivly increase it that would be ok. It''s a nice idear to spent some time in AION but woun't keep you there for a long time.

Once again I feel the need to state this because it seems that a bunch of EU players aren't quite sure what this thread is about.


This thread is about NA Aion going F2P.

It's also about the key fact that NA Aion is 100% free with no restrictions, where as EU Aion will have different account types with restrictions.

It's also about the fact that cash shops/pay to win will not be in NA Aion's 100% Free To Play. It's already confirmed, no restrictions, and no cash shops.

The only thing slightly close to pay to win is the socketing item to guarantee 100% Manastone socketing rate, which IS STILL IN HUGE DEBATE.

They will be offering more cosmetics and such in the store, but no pay to win/game breaking items.

This is going to be really nice, we will see what they will put into stores!!

Good news for North American region only. All else region will hardly suffer differences between veteran acc and starter / gold acc.

They have an Aion store, but the game is not gonna be a cash shop game.

Since this is all ending March 13th, and they'll prob want that last month to roll in, 3.0 will prob come out March 20th-April-ish.

if we used to play, can we get that free 2 week free reactivation? it wont let me log on or anything. ever time i do, the screen freezes for like 2 minutes, then disconnects me from the server. o.O
