because glads are melee you have to get close. its next to impossible to get anywhere near a sorc or sm if your constantly CC'd.  i dont have a high level glad (mine is 40) but from what i hear stacking magic resist makes for a bad ass PvP build

maybe if you only go up against bads & undergeared ppl.
stacking MR on anything but a cleric is a waste, especially now that we're into 2.0.

glads have awesome survivability and consistent heavy damage, especially with their new adv stigma chains.

doing that would lower your DPS sooo much ... a lot of your attacks (berzerk, stunbreak, 4kDP) are based on a % of your attack ... i do not think it is worth sacrificing so many stats and burst dmg for some MR ... plus plate gear really doesn't give much of it anyway ... you'd only be able to hit like 1600 MR, and that's with lakhane ... and this is not enough ... at all

So far seeing endgame pvp, for fun pvp but yet needing a bit of skill, aswell as easy to join a group for PvE, I'd suggest Glad or Cleric.

I personally favor glad, being a up-in-your-face kinda guy, they have a nice steady DPS, aswell as good survivability.

Endgame wise Glads are OP in the sense that the only two different classes that pose a threat, are Templar and Cleric. It's great to watch people say SM or Ranger is OP, and then you can drop them faster than they can burst you.

Some may say Asmos sorc, but any glad should wreck you. CC isn't a problem, you can tank their nukes -- mixed with pots and other stuff, they're not a threat.

Glads I would say are the best Melee class as far as Air PvP, their spear extendable seems to be better than any sword/dagger extendable, and they have Cleave, which is a hella lovely chain.

As for stacking MR, no need. Basically You get 440-500ish Base crit, after that, if lvl 55 and fully geared, socket accuracy til you hit 2.2k Accuracy.
After that it's your choice really, you could do MR, not worth it at that point, but most will do Attack/HP.

I've learned a lot about the extent of characters being OP, and that's that no class is OP, just some classes are your Anti-class.

Rangers however require no skill to obtain a kill, that's the only thing.
But just like they can get a quick kill, they can die even easier. Prior to UD, was around 35-36, I was finishing a quest in the abyss. Got Ganked by 3x rangers whom i looked up and was 34-37, all about my same gear. I ended up killing them all :D It's fun stuff.

You can roll Asmo sorc, but Glads and rangers will rape you, you can roll ranger, and Glads will rape you, you can Roll glad, and really temp/Cleric are your only anti class as far as 1v1, but they're tricky for anyone 1v1 :p

Stick with your glad tbh, they're a lot of fun.
