chanters dont get GOOD in pvp imo till they get recovery spell.(45-47 somewhere in there) even then you need the right gear / stigmas / manastones. but like jmb said i saw a full miragents chanter rape three other full fenris 50's. ( sorc glad and a sin). the reason they can own is the fact that they can heal so fast w/o using an actual cast time spell along with having a stun or para godstone on their staff adds to their regular stumbles. a decked chanter can stun lock almost as good as a sin.

Sorry, but chanter vs sorc glad and sin must die fast. If he rape 3 of them - they just was rly bad.

Ive got a chanter named Support lvl 20, he's fun yeah, but I wouldn't consider getting him to 50... it's rather boring and the DPS is half of that of a glad.

Yeah, but remember that chanter is support class. The best thing is if your team know what to do, than you always sit on enemy cleric.

you're comparing a level 20 with a level 50 you arent even considering their skills / gear / stigmas. you have no idea how many stuns they get its almost as bad as an assassin.

and it was an air fight so to be completely honest it would've gone a lot differently on the ground. at first it was just a sin + glad the chanter ij'd the glad and then raped the sin started on the glad and the sorc showed up. hit the sorc with an ij and caught up to it and killed it. then it was just a 1v1 against the glad. you have no idea what a chanter is like at 50 if you're comparing your un geared level 20 to a 50 complaining about "slow dps and it only being a support class" thats like saying i quit assassin at level 10 because i didnt have enough rune carves.

I have idea about this, and sorc should kick chanter ass. Chanter have only 1,3k mrez.

you arent counting in abyss grade pots crystals serums anti shock scrolls ect

I said they have low DPS compared to a Glad, but to back that up they do have an incredible amount of stuns, but even so... an equally geared glad should RAPE that chanter... Unless the person using the glad is a complete noob.
