Clerics are generally best.

I made a chanter at first, and then rolled a cleric, and Cleric is much more better imo.


Cleric can heal more, and dispel various status effects, while still having a decent DPS via magics.

Either way, Chanter or Cleric is generally best for PvE, due to the fact they can heal + tank a tiny bit. (not so great HP but can wear the 2nd best armor type ingame -- this goes for chanters aswell)

I recall I solo'ed various GROUP quests.
The 2nd series of campaign for Asmodian people, for 10-20, I had finished @ lvl 17. I had only gotten 1 friend for 3 quests, but I was already almost finished them -- I just didn't feel like killing elites solo

chanter are best imo. great dps and can heal also. plus party buffs are great and everyone loves them. never had a problem with healing on my chanter so idk why go cleric to be able to heal more. would rather have the extra dps

Well, I made a gladiator (Level 16) and its great

make sure you give clerics a chance ive been playing aion for 7 months now and i just gave them a shot and its my new main O.o

Clerics can do more damage than Chanters.... with ease.


I first made a chanter, and now I'm glad I made a cleric...

With cleric you can go full defence or full offense... it is very possible to do more damage with a cleric.

most classes solo well. if u wanna solo pvp go ranger, hands down.

if u want to solo 50 elite guards, sins do it, and fast.
if u wanna grind endlessly with zero downtime and no fear of dying from adds, go chanter.
if u wanna kite multiple elites around at the same time while leveling, go spirit master.



cleric is definitely not what i would consider best solo by any means. they arent terrible, bot no where near as good as those.

Well, my gladiator (level 26) rocks at solo'ing

it will get better, especially if you have access to very nice gear ... then you'll rock pretty much anything
